Thermal Spring Bath
European thermal springs, also known as hot springs, are world famous for their therapeutic health benefits. The curative effect of this spa treatment comes from the minerals dissolved in natural saltwater, which is recovered from the deep underground and up to 160°F (ca. 70ºC) hot when pumped up. To use it as a medical treatment, the hot spring water is cooled down, while maintaining its natural state and composition, so the minerals can be absorbed through the skin while in the water and deposited in the affected parts of our body.
Each spring has its own unique combination of minerals. Hot springs that are found in Europe have a very high degree of sulfur and salt and are therefore considered to be a “truly universal remedy” as they have a positive impact on many health problems; especially those associated with joints and muscle pain.
